Meet other carers in your local area and enjoy stories and rhymes with your baby. Baby Rhyme Time is for babies aged 12 months and under.

School Holiday Activities
School holiday activities are run within the Libraries at each school holiday break. Details are available on this site and from the libraries at the approach of each holiday period.
Other holiday programs are run in conjunction with the City of Monash. Brochures for these are available in the Libraries and at the council office before each holiday period.

Teen Tech Labs will be run at Clayton branch once a month on a Thursday evening, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Homework Club at Clayton Library
Join the Clayton Homework Club for secondary school students.
Need help with your homework? Need a place to work with fewer distractions? Join the Clayton Homework Club. Volunteers are available to encourage and support you with your homework, during term time, at Clayton Library.

An afternoon with Rae Frances
Rae Frances is an acclaimed author,and a lecturer and Dean of Arts at Monash University. Rae will be talking about her book on the history of prostitution in Australia, Selling Sex, which was short-listed for the Ernest Scott History Prize.

Knitting Groups

Like a good yarn? ... and knitting too?
Bring along your knitting and meet with fellow enthusiasts. Anyone can join in, regardless of level of skill and experience.
Dates as below. Please check with the group about public holiday meeting dates. Sessions will last 60 to 90 minutes. No booking required.
Clayton Library Thursday 7.00pm, starting from 5 November.
Oakleigh Library every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 3.00pm
Mount Waverley Library every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm.

Conversation Circles

Practise your English at our weekly Conversation Circles with the help o experienced volunteers. It's also a great opportunity to meet other people from your local area. Pop down for a chat and a coffee.
